Robert (Bob) George Hayes, a beloved Golden High School (GHS) alumnus, teacher, and coach, passed away on December December 20, 2025, at age 76. A celebration of life is scheduled for June 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Robert G. Hayes Gymnasium at Golden High School.
A 1967 graduate of Golden High School, Bob was known as a “pillar of the community” and a “Golden icon.” He taught, coached, and served as president of the GHS Alumni Association for many years.
